  The Investments Finance team work with talented individuals who come collaborate to provide accounting, planning and analysis, financial reporting, valuation, research and project management for the Allstate Investments organization.   Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

   

  • Providing financial analysis to support external reporting on Investments for The Allstate Corporation and its subsidiaries as required by to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC - GAAP) and National Association of Insurance Commission (NAIC - Statutory). 
  • Reporting and analyzing financial data, capital related and statistical projects 
  • Investigating basic financial and/or statistical issues and questions
  • Participating and completing adhoc projects/requests
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual reports and presentations of a financial nature
  • Working closely with management teams and key stakeholders in the organization

   

   

   

  Essential criteria – Candidates should clearly state on their application form how they meet each of the essential criteria as these will be assessed during shortlisting and only these deemed to meet all of the below criteria will move forward to the next stage.

   

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline, or
    •  2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy reporting role
  • 1 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy reporting role

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data

  • General understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

   

   

   

   

  Desirable Criteria –

   

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and Power-Bi
  • Experience with SAP or similar accounting system
