    Allstate operate a very flexible hybrid working policy that will allow you to design your working week in collaboration with your manager with a blend of remote and office working for NI based employees as well as condensed working patterns (4 day week/9 day fortnight). Employees based in GB will be employed on a permanent remote working contract.

    Your role in the team

     

    The Human Resource Business Partner is a trusted advisor partnering with senior leaders to deliver on the Allstate people strategy; translating business needs and collaborating with business and HR on the development, implementation and monitoring of people initiatives to build talent, engagement and capability. Leveraging data and analytics the HRBP provides valuable insights to drive strategic talent management solutions to support the business, anticipating future challenges and providing proactive advice on relevant strategic people-related issues.

     

    Delivery of the ANI people strategy

     

    Understand and champion the people implications of the business strategy and decisions

    Through partnering with business leaders and leveraging workforce data and analytics gain an insight into the key improvement opportunities which should be addressed in the people strategy

    Play a critical role in Talent Management, performance & capability, resource planning and culture/engagement in support of business imperatives

    Partnering with HR Centres of Expertise, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition to develop, implement, measure and continuously improve HR solutions 

    Identify new ways of working for HR to support the people and business strategy

     

    Attend senior management team meetings and events – operating as a key member of the senior management team

     

    Apply strategic HR expertise to support the business area in delivering their strategic agenda and business priorities

     

    Provide one to one coaching support and advice to leaders on HR-related matters

     

    Act as a ‘trusted advisor’ and adopt appropriate leadership styles (e.g., coaching, directing, facilitating) to maximise impact

     

    Ensure strategies, policies and initiatives are effectively adopted, implemented and embedded across all business units, supporting the business through an agile approach, aligning the people strategy to drive business success.  

     

    Collaborate across the wider HR function and ensure a joined-up and consistent approach across all business areas.

     

    Promote the strategic needs of departments / business units back to HR function to ensure that HR strategies, policies and initiatives are fit-for-purpose

     

    Understand business unit requirements and operating environment and ensure these requirements are understood and taken into account in any business-wide HR strategies, policies and initiatives

    Ensure HR solutions are customer-focused, add value and are in the line with the business strategy and culture

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Bachelor’s Degree HR or Business related
    • Hold current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in an HR Business Partner role or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within a Human Resources function at HR Generalist/Officer/Advisor level
    • Previous experience of establishing, managing and leveraging relationships with internal partners
    • Previous experience of analyzing data and applying it to problem resolution

    • Professional with strong organizational and communication skills
    • Intermediate project management skills
    • Ability to think conceptually, analytically and creatively
    • Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and organize
