    Allstate operate a very flexible hybrid working policy that will allow you to design your working week in collaboration with your manager with a blend of remote and office working for NI based employees as well as condensed working patterns (4 day week/9 day fortnight). Employees based in GB will be employed on a permanent remote working contract.

    Your role in the team

     

    Allstate NI has an exciting opportunity to join in the role of Project Coordinator.   

     

    You will join a great team of technologists within our Alliance business area.  Alliance, known as one of the crown jewels of Allstate insurance, is currently delivering hundreds of projects per year, while transforming the core development environment and adopting modern tooling.

     

    The successfully candidate will be given the opportunity to work with the Senior Leadership team on a wide variety of initiatives to improve the culture, operations, working environment and delivery capability of the Development Centre.

     

    This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated candidate who relishes the prospect of taking ownership of a wide range of tasks and projects, acting as a change agent and helping to improve the productivity of a dynamic global team.

     

    • Coordinate and support the operating model of the Alliance Development Centre (400+ people.)
    • Support and organize the Senior Leader Team
    • Project coordination of tactical and strategic initiatives aimed at improving culture, working environment, productivity and delivery capability
    • Coordinate improvement projects that help drive innovation across the business area
    • Support Communications across the Alliance Development Centre
    • Develop and maintain the documentation strategy 

     

    The successful candidate will have significant opportunity and access to training, coaching and mentoring to ensure they are successful in their new role.  They will work with team members from Alliance in Northern Ireland, USA and India.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Minimum 3 Years project coordination / management experience within an IT and software development environment
    • Proven track record in successful implementation of strategically important software development initiatives/projects
    • Experience working within a software development life cycle project environment
    • Self-motivated and can work well under pressure
    • Ability to work well with people at all levels, empowering collaboration globally
    • Desire to work in dynamic and challenging environments
    • Ability to solve problems in a timely, structured manner with strong analytical approach.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience/knowledge in working in an Agile environment
    • Experience working with Senior Stakeholders
    • Experience working on projects to achieve transformational or organisational change
    • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint Version 1
