    Your role in the team

     

    We have a year-in-industry opportunity in our Marketing and Communications Team for students, starting in Summer 2022.

     

    The Marketing and Communications Assistant will utilise back-office, CMS and social media platforms to support a busy team providing a range of services to 2,400+ employees across three sites in Northern Ireland.

    This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate who wants experience of all elements of the marketing mix – such as social media, website management, other digital communications, print communications, photography, event management and PR.

     

    The successful candidate will take on a range of key administration activities to aid in the smooth running of the team. 

     

    • Help implement marketing plans and strategy to meet the company’s objectives in relation to recruitment marketing, internal communication, and employee engagement
    • Preparation of content for AllstateNI’s online presence – web, social media, PPC
    • Organization and co-ordination of Town Halls, Intranet & SharePoint sites, employee newsletters, events across our 3 sites and external promotion of company activities
    • Monitor and report on all digital marketing activities
    • Assist with the delivery of internal and external events, conferences and exhibitions
    • Administration of the company’s recognition and reward programme
    • Competitor analysis
    • Conduct market research
    • Work closely with our Graphic Design team to assist in the creation of promotional material
    • Liaising with suppliers to develop and order marketing merchandise and manage inventory

     

    Placement Students who impress on their one-year placement with Allstate Northern Ireland may be made conditional offers of permanent employment with Allstate at the end of their placement for further opportunities where available.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • On course to complete second year of a Marketing or Communications degree course by the end of June 2022.
    • Able to provide evidence of having achieved high academic grades in your degree course and academic qualifications to date.
    • Please include a full list of module marks from your first year, and any current year to date. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of application.

    Experience in the following:

    • Managing social media platforms
    • Event management
    • Content creation, web, blog, video, etc.
