    Your role in the team

     

    This position is offered to an experienced ServiceNow Platform Engineer who is eager to support ServiceNow which is a foundational platform at Allstate Insurance Company.  The health and availability of the platform is necessary to help drive automation of IT Service Management processes, integrations with other systems and the Transformative Growth Initiative.

     

    The eligible candidate will be responsible for working directly with the vendor for all platform upgrades and patching and assist in delivering solutions with the highest possible value as part of the ServiceNow platform team. Assist in implementation of new features and capabilities while maintaining the over all performance of the platform. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

     

    • Clear communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Have some system administration experience
    • Be able to support multiple instances of ServiceNow
    • Assist in the Integration/Migration of Family of Companies to Allstate
    • Be able to work in a team environment with partners across multiple locations
    • Coordinate and facilitate initial platform configuration​, resources, and updates and upgrades​​​
    • Oversee instance security including access control, accounts, groups, roles and delegated development
    • Responsible for instance stack​, day-to-day support​, data integrity​ and overall health and performance​​​ of the platform
    • Participation in all aspects of IT Service Management and on-call rotation
    • Research new functionality and recommend solutions that deliver value for the future

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Must have 3+ years’ experience in a IT discipline
    • Capable of multi-taking with multiple partners
    • Experience working on the ServiceNow platform
    • Experience and strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience as a Systems Administrator
      • ServiceNow Systems Admin Certification a plus
    • Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Change, Data Certification, and other ITSM modules.
    • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with third party software, activating plug-ins etc.
    • Experience in coding and configuring interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems
    • Understand of Reporting tool such as PowerBi
    • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
    • Experience in SaaS and/or Cloud Infrastructure Development
