Allstate operate a very flexible hybrid working policy that will allow you to design your working week in collaboration with your manager with a blend of remote and office working for NI based employees as well as condensed working patterns (4 day week/9 day fortnight). Your role in the team
Product Technology plays a critical role for Allstate in powering our Allstate Personal Lines insurance business and we are delighted to announce the opportunity to join our Product Technology Senior Leadership team, leading one of the Development Centres.
As the largest publicly held personal lines property and casualty insurer in America, serving more than 16 million households nationwide, the Product Technology Platform is the core technology component in servicing >21 million of policies in force, handling millions of transactions daily and driving a multi-billion personal lines insurance annual revenue.
Your focus will be to develop and execute on the transformation strategy necessary to change the Alliance software product in support of Transformative Growth , whilst maintaining high levels of availability in the current technology stack and driving delivery of Allstate Personal Lines business growth plans across all insurance products.
You will lead a team of 70+ Java engineers in a global organization across US, India and NI. A key priority for this role is ensuring staff have an opportunity to further develop their engineering skills while maintaining the classic platform which is core to our business.
From a local perspective, your NI local leader remit may include leading additional teams outside your direct delivery responsibilities.
