Lead Integration Developer - Talend (hybrid)

    Your role in the team

     

     

     

    We are excited to announce a development opportunity in the Integration Enablement team within Allstate Canada (ACG) with a focus on developing, improving and modernizing the state of ACG integrations through the implementation of the Talend solution.

     

     

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Technical Lead to play a key role within this global team which will comprise members from Northern Ireland, Canada and India.

     

     

    • Contribute to the design and implementation of integration platforms and applications.
    • Maintain code quality by establishing and maintaining good development practices within the team.
    • Promote good Agile working practices within the team.
    • Work with stakeholders from other IT teams and from business partners.
    • Work with 3rd party vendors and external consultants.

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role
    • Previous .NET development experience
    • At least three years development experience in one or more of the following areas: RESTful Web APIs, Kafka, Talend, TIBCO BusinessWorks
    • Understanding of operating systems, networking, databases and security.

     

     

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

     

     

    • Experience of working in a Technical Lead role.
    • Experience developing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines.
    • Experience of using GitHub and Jenkins.
    • Experience of using Splunk.
    • Experience of using Pivotal Cloud Foundry or another Cloud platform.
    • Experience of Spring Boot Microservices.
